Emergency Food Parcels
We provide emergency food parcels for anyone within our community who is struggling and in genuine need. Throughout the Covid pandemic, we started providing emergency food and essentials for our most vulnerable. We are still here to support anyone who is struggling and impacted by the Cost-of-Living Crisis.

Work Club
The way we apply for jobs is changing and we are here to help and support you.
If you need help with a CV, completing jobs applications or some support with interview skills, please let us know.
We are also here to help you get online, sign up to job sites and learn more about social engagement platforms.

Help Getting Online
We know how much people are struggling if they are not online and we have seen first-hand how this has got worse during the Covid-19 pandemic. With health services, employment, shopping and benefits services all going digital, many people are struggling to access these essential services and the digital divide is widening.
We have a very friendly relaxed space and are here to help anyone struggling

Digital Buddies
We have trained Community Digital Buddies here to provide friendly and informal support to others within our community. If you would like some peer-to-peer Digital Support or would just like a friendly chat, please get in touch

Community Library –
Coffee & Cake
Social time is so important for us all and sometimes there is nothing better than seeing a friendly face and simply having a nice brew and chat.
We are thrilled to launch our new Community Library, please just drop by to one of our weekly drop-in sessions Tuesdays 11am till 1pm. Help yourself to a book of your choice and enjoy a nice, brew, biscuit and chat. In case you don’t like books, you are still very welcome too, so please get in touch.
MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Friends of The Attic – Mental Health Support Group
Our mental health support group provides a safe environment for people with complex mental health issues to meet, enjoy social time and engage in additional support. The group also provides valuable peer to peer support and a genuine understanding of shared experiences.
This wonderful group is very supportive, valuable friendships have blossomed and it provides a lifeline to its members.
The group meets weekly on a Thursday from 11.00am until 1pm (Group Currently Full)

Help for People
Suffering from Anxiety
Our monthly informal sessions provide a safe space to come along and chat to others who are struggling and going through similar things. This group is community led and held in the evening as we know getting to groups during the day are difficult for some.
This wonderful group is very supportive, valuable friendships have blossomed and it provides a lifeline to its members. The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month from 7.00pm until 8.30pm. If you would like to know more or just have a friendly chat, please contact us
Peer Support Group

Volunteering Opportunities
As a small Charity, we can only achieve all we do thanks to the wonderful dedication and support of our amazing volunteers. If you would like gain some new skills to help getting into work or would simply like to spend some time, giving something back to your local community, we would love to hear from you.
We have a number of different roles and we always appreciate an extra pair of hands. Volunteering is very rewarding and it truly makes a positive difference to the lives we touch.

Adult and Toddler Sessions
We work with KidsRock who deliver a quirky and engaging interactive music based session for pre-school children aged 0-5.
All sessions feature dances,instruments and props, these classes are differentiated to include children from birth, with engaging songs and fun themes.
These sessions run weekly (term time only) on a Friday morning from 10.30am until 11.15am. For more information and to book on.
